Man boobs, also known as gynecomastia, man breasts or moobs, affect over 50% over the course of their life. Yet, more than 90% women answer that male breasts are unatractive to extremely unatractive.

Man boobs can be divided in three types, each with its own causes: fake, true, and mixed gynecomastia.

Fake moobs (or pseudo) are made entirely of fat. Their cause is simple: excess fat. This may happen if you are obese, but even men who aren't may be storing fat in their chest and thus getting unpleasantly enlarged breasts. If you have pseudo gynecomastia the solution is loosing weight.

Male breasts make men less attractive to women, reduce our self-confidence, affect our social life and even make it hard to go to the beach or the swimming pool.

No wonder there so many men turn to the Internet in search for a solution to this problem, and no wonder there is so much information out there. Of all the advice I found when I was trying to loose my own moobs, most was fake and even harmful.

Exercise is a common advice you hear about loosing man boobs. But does it work? And how?

Most people who say exercise will help you get rid of your moobs assume you have moobs because you are fat, which is not always the case. If you do have excess fat, they say exercise will burn it and thus reduce your moobs.

1. Exercise

The problem is not that you have too low testosterone - most men with gynecomastia actually have normal or increased levels of that hormone. No, the problem is that the enzymes that convert testosterone to estrogen are overactive.

3. Don't worry about soy

Doctors are actually still unsure about this. It is known that these phytoestrogens will bind to the receptors of estrogen, competing with real estrogen. Loosing Man Boobs - How to Make Your Hormones Work for You

If you have searched the Internet before about loosing man boobs you've probably come across a piece of information that states that if you have gynecomastia it is likely that your testosterone and estrogen are not balanced.

Articles that state this often then go on and list a series of steps you can take to ensure that you increase your testosterone, thus reducing the imbalance and reversing your man boobs.

But is this right? Not really.

First of all, thou not most important, the majory of male breasts are not caused by hormonal imbalance but by excess fat. If this is your case tweaking your hormones will do nothing for you - you need to tweak your metabolic rate and calories intake.

But more serious than that is the assumption that you have a low level of testosterone. This is utterly false - most men with man boobs have normol or hight levels of testosterone, not the reverse.

So what is the problem? The problem is that too much testosterone is being converted to estrogen.

And what is the solution? It is now obvious that the solution is not to increase testosterone, but to reduce estrogen conversion.

First use things like chrysin and saw palmetto that inhibit the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to estrogen. Most likely this will reverse your man boobs, but if it doesn't it is now safe to increase your testosterone levels using that other strategies, like puncture vine or hawthorne berry.
